Midlothian Lodge 211 Officers & Committees
Verbal Coaching
- Find a Mentor who can teach a role and match them up with a Student
- Set a day/night at the lodge where the mentor and students will meet one on one to go over just the verbal part (no floor work). They can also meet separately (like catachism) on their own time but do not give up this meeting. This meeting gives the committee head (and worshipful master a chance to see progress or lack thereof.) The practice schedule should be posted on the lodges Web page and Facebook page.
- Set the Mentors up before the year starts. Then connect the two by emailing, texting to the team the worksheet below, everyone's contact information (we recommend this be on a protected members section of your website).
- Where to find Mentors - Depending on the strength of your lodge you may need to look to your Grand Lodge or other lodges for mentors. Once this practice is ingrained you will become more self sufficient.
